This hand crafted Genesis Excelsior Coffee Table features a beautiful single slab top of heavily figured American black walnut, with various subtle live edge elements on the underside edges, highlighting the live edge organic shapes of this rich and unique slab. The modern profiling on this piece provides a visually striking effect when coupled with the rich tones and mesmerizing colors of the natural wood, and would serve as a gorgeous centerpiece of a room. Our handmade Excelsior Base features uniquely beveled angles, without distracting from the natural compression curl figure and organic curves of the top. The table dimensions as shown are approximately 43″ L x 28″ W x 20″ H.

Hand Rubbed VOC-Free Natural Finish
No color additives or stains are used, and this table features a hand rubbed finish called Rubio MonoCoat, which is durable, easy to apply, and easy to maintain (as well as spot fix and refinish). Rubio MonoCoat is a plant-based hardwax oil finish that is VOC-free, meaning there are no harmful volatile organic compounds present, and it is LEED verified. This European style hand rubbed finish offers a natural and subtle soft matte finish, allowing you to feel and smell the natural state of the wood itself. We use Rubio products for a variety of reasons, and find that it is best for both highlighting the natural beauty of wood, as well as ease of maintenance over the life of a piece.
